When we decided to buy a property in La Paz, we had some concern about how we would fare in this important adventure that we were about to undertake, especially since we do not live in Mexico, but in Canada. Aside from being a very nice guy--with a wonderful family--and aside from being a competent and hard-working professional, Victor Granados is absolutely trustworthy. We gave him power of attorney for closing on a house for us while we were in the States--with complete confidence. I1st met Victor in 2006 when we drove up from Cabo and fell in love with La Paz. we contacted a realtor and Victor was one of the agents. he spoke a little English which really helped. we told him what we were looking for and he showed us about 10 properties. we had decided on the Condos Colina del Sol. the day before we were supposed to fly back to Colorado from Cabo, i asked Victor to show me the condo one more time. we were buying the penthouse on the 5th floor but the construction was only up to the 3rd floor. in 100 degree july weather, we both climbed up a wooden ladder to the 3rd floor. as i was getting to sign the contract, there was a bulldozer plowing a new road below us. i was worried about something being built that would block our view. i asked Victor and he just happened to have the info with him on a new project called Alttus. he drove us around and we followed the bulldozed as far as we could and the we hiked along the side of the hill through scrub brush, catc, rattlesnakes and tarantulas. the lots were marked with white lye. i found the lot i wanted, we went back to the office and i signed a contract and put down a deposit. remember we knew nothing about buy or building in Mexico. Victor handled everything and helped helped us redesign the floorplan and work with the architect. i only flew down 2 times to check on the progress, the rest we trusted to Victor. he handled things from the beginning to closing and we were the 1st to buy, build and move into Alttus in 2007. we couldn't of been happier with his service and follow up. the next year he started his own company, South Baja Realtors and has become one of La Paz premier real estate companies. he helped establish a professional Realtor Association and has professional agents. he also has become a good friend over the years. if you want a real estate experience that is 100% top notch, he's your man. my wife and i highly recommend him and his company!!
